I'm reordering today, and saw this opportunity to post a review!
I have been a customer of SaltWorks for years, and cannot even imagine going back to grocery store salt now that I've had the real thing. My favorite is an Artisan Salt called Murray River, farmed in Australia, and it is an incredibly delicious finishing salt. I also buy the giant bags of pink Himalayan salt for use as a bath salt. I have sampled numerous salts, love many, and keep 10 or 12 for different recipes. These salts are unprocessed and have 100 or so trace nutrients in them. The junk in the grocery stores might as well have been created in a lab somewhere. The difference in taste is vast. For the first time, I understand why salt was a commodity that was traded and used as payment for merchants in times past. If one has not had the real thing, you cannot imagine what your taste buds are missing!
I was not a big epsom salt user until my youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia and then that became a HUGE part of his thrivership journey to wellness. 2 cups of ES with 2 cups of Baking Soda and select essential oils 2-3 times a week caused us to consider BULK purchases and that is when I found SaltWorks. I have never had a problem ordering and there has never been an issue with the 50lb bag of salt we order. This product has made its way onto my business' "recommended" list for pediatric cancer parents who are interested in partnering holistic methods with conventional ones.
Maybe one day my family will venture into the artisan side of this company.
