I have been living here for almost a year, and my own experience with my family has been fantastic. Apartment in a very centric location in Sammamish, walkable, nearby to multiple places like metropolitan market, Safeway, Mcdonalds, etc.
Property management has been good, however there are things to improve, sometimes is difficult to find them on site, but they have been responsive via email most of the times I communicated with them, which is great.
Maintenance has been great as well, they respond quickly to emergencies, and even tasks that are not necessary an emergency they still go the same day or the after you put the request.
Has good amenities, but in the last months there has been some incidents with elevators, the parlor, the garage door which despite is has been properly taken care of, still somehow has impacted our experience, and that’s why we don’t give full 5 stars.
Other than that, it has been a great experience for us, and hope other future residents can enjoy of it
Living at SAMM has been a mixed experience, and unfortunately, the persistent noise issues caused by a neighboring resident above have significantly affected our overall satisfaction. While the complex itself offers somewhat decent amenities and a nice location, the ongoing disturbance from the neighboring apartment has detracted from the quality of our living environment. We initially reached out to the apartment management office to express our concerns about the excessive noise, hoping for a swift resolution. Emily was polite and assured us that they would address the issue promptly. Unfortunately, despite our efforts and the intervention of management, the noise problem persisted over an extended period. Moreover, we attempted to communicate directly and in writing with the neighbor to find an amicable solution, but our requests for cooperation fell on deaf ears. The lack of consideration and respect for fellow residents' peace and quiet has been disappointing. We had been in contact via email with Emily who offered a few “solutions” to which we followed through on. One was to express our discontent by writing a letter and the other was to simply knock on the door. Once again, we went to talk to management in person and were met with the most sassiest and calculated response: “the apartments aren’t soundproof” from the senior manager Ali. It is disheartening when a significant aspect of the living experience, such as peace and quiet, becomes elusive due to the actions of a single neighbor and lack of response from someone whose entire job is to MANAGE. Additionally, we had major plumbing issues where apparently- the entire sewage system smell of the building was coming out of my kitchen sink pipes. It took days for them to respond and weeks for them to get someone to take a look only for them to overlook the issue and do a temp fix, and MONTHS for them to find an actual solution. Prospective tenants should be aware of the potential for noise-related challenges in this complex and may want to consider alternatives if a peaceful living environment is a top priority.
