My experience..... was the regatta that began at 5:30 a.m. at Idylwood Park today, March 28. Imagine about 250 youth directly outside your bedroom window, all excited for a race that has been delayed. What to do with all that energy? oh. did i mention it was 5:30 in the morning? Proper etiquette, SRA, would have been to let the neighbors know that you had invited Mt. Baker and Everett (and whomever else was here), andlet us know that this event was taking place. Poor sportsmanship, SRA. Probably should have used some of your real estate and brand new, huge facility a half mile down the road to contain some of this? (I spoke with the director and one of the coaches for Everett. This was not their doing, directly. As hosts for this event, you are responsible.) Please let the community know in advance the next time you plan a meet of this magnitude. Thanks. By the way, you get a dislike, rather than a hate. I like what you're doing. The program is good. I just would like to know ahead of time when my sleep is going to get so disrupted. I would like to be on board with this program, not an apology.
