Don't mind the negative reviews and the constant bickering from salty customers. I have shopped here ever since they opened. The staff are friendly and helpful. I prefer to shop at Sam's Club over Costco. I don't miss the long checkout lines, insane waiting time to pump gas or not finding a parking spot. Sams Club all day

My husband and I have been customers of Sam's Club for several years. We've shopped at Costco since those stores were opened (this is the area of the international headquarters after all) but were open to using Sam's Club as well, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the merchandise and the prices. We became executive members, and usually visited at least weekly. But, this recent closing has set me back on my heels. It's bad enough that all those employees at the 3 area stores are losing their jobs.Today, we tried to return merchandise twice - once at 10:30 shortly after opening, when the lines were at least an hour long to get in (!!), and again at 5:20 only to find out that they had closed early. The method, process and 'customer service' used with closing this store has turned me off from any Walton stores for the rest of my life. I only wanted to return two items purchased during Christmas, but was turned away with a snotty comment asking why I hadn't returned them during my first visit (although I had explained that the lines were an hour long). I asked to speak to the manager, and he said he 'was the manager' - but no name tag and certainly not a manager name tag. (I'm not sure I blame him - his job was removed with no warning.) I will NEVER walk through the doors of a Sam's Club or Walmart again. I should have realized that employees and customers do not come first with them, only profit. Too bad it took me so long to discover that.

I like most prices but not the layout. Not as clean or as well organized as Costco. Customer service desk is consistently understaffed and return policy is not as liberal or as easy as Costco. A plus is they aren't nearly as crowded so usually easy to get out of.
