Keep in mind, there are two dumps, one on either side of the road. One is oriented toward semi-professional dumping, and charges $20 for the first 700 lbs. For the mere mortals like I, the dump site to the southwest of the road charges $5 for a carload. Know which category you fall into, as the signs are only so helpful.

Easy and inexpensive way to get rid of your trash for us diy. We took our old wall to wall carpet/padding in our SUV. Waited in line because it was Monday, their busiest day. $5

From the directions as you leave freeway, to the courteous, polite attendant at main gate (first time at this location so didn't know their routine) to the neat appearance, (and remember, you could say "this place is a dump" even if it's nice) it was a much better experience than I expected.
