I noticed a bitter parent who wrote a review about the service they actually never received from this business. So I decided to write my two cents about how amazing this daycare is.

This place is fantastic. They truly care about individual child. Yes, this place is extremely popular for bilingual program and hands on sensory activities. Yes, they are busy as heck as they go out of their ways to care for each child. They send us photos and updates every 3-4 hours or so, so we feel still connected even being apart.

My 1 year old son has been having tantrums due to his teething. They have been very patient with him, trying all kinds of tricks and methods to make him feel at ease. He is in love with this place and I’m so happy we are lucky to have Sanchez Family Daycare!

We had a wonderful experience with Sanchez Family Daycare. As a first-time mom trying to navigate a child care search, I’m hoping this review makes life easier for other parents out there!

I reached out to Rosie via text message and she responded within an hour. We were able to bring our 5-month-old for a tour that day, and a trial visit just a few days later. I was really concerned about how our daughter would adjust to daycare, given she had few experiences with caregivers other than me and my husband, and she can be very particular about how she drinks her bottle/how she naps/how she is held & entertained. But Rosie soothed my fears by sending tons of pictures and updates about how our daughter was doing. She was incredibly patient and found creative ways to engage her and keep her happy and calm (outside time, laying on the trampoline for a soothing jiggling effect, playing with different baby toys). They tried multiple strategies and after just 1 day were able to feed her the bottle without problems (and trust me this is very difficult!). They were very conscientious about making sure that she always had sunscreen on when outside and changing her outfit to make sure she stayed comfortable. I felt 100% confident that they were treating her with the love and care that she would receive from a family member. We could feel how well our daughter was cared for from their update texts throughout the day and communication at drop off and pick-up. My husband also chatted with the parents of toddlers/older kids at pick-up time, and they loved the activities, crafts, and atmosphere as well.

After about 2 weeks of attending Sanchez Family Daycare, we did switch to a different daycare that was logistically much more convenient for my commute and closer to my work, but we were very sad to say goodbye. Special thank you to Rosie and Martha for taking such good care of our baby and making us feel so comfortable!

Let me start by saying that my son's preschool is closing after 30 yrs in business. He doesn't have to go to school, but we like him to go a few times per week to get social skills and honestly we all need a little time apart. I called Sanchez Family after finding them on Yelp. The voicemail was full and it was a generic voicemail. I went on the WeCare website and sent a message stating my interest. I called again the next day and the same thing. Called twice the day after that. I received a text message from the number with "can I call you later?" I text the unknown person about our situation and after i asked again the next day, they sent me a price list of what they offered for half days. That is what I was looking for. I asked numerous times to come see the location since it is down the street from my house. Getting someone to respond was like pulling teeth. I finally spoke with Rosie after 3 days of poor communication. She told me that another family pays for 5 days per week even though they do not come all 5 days. Just to hold their child's spot. I told her I was willing to do the same. Then she starts asking me about committing to full-time. I told her I would commit to the 5 half days only. He comes home and takes a 3 hour nap everyday. He can do that at home. So now, she is still dancing around agreeing to let me come by the school for a visit after I have asked numerous times. Finally Rosie agrees to have us come by the following Wednesday to come view the school and see if it is a right fit for our son as well as the teachers. I text Rosie back Thursday, and never received a response. Today is Wednesday and I get a text 2 hours before we are to come in that Rosie can not accommodate a part time child. It has been a chore to get anyone to communicate or even answer the phone. Now if you can't answer the phone to a potential customer, how are you handling phone calls from concerned parents who's children are attending at your location? When I initially inquired about my son coming here, why did you give me quotes for 3, 4, & 5 half days, when you are now saying you can't do half days and I would have to pay for 5 half days, even if my son did not come 5 days? Obviously this location lacking in communication and is all about the financial gain and not the child. I have owned and ran my company for over 8 years. I would no longer be in business if I treated potential clients like this.
