If you've never been to Scarecrow Video, it's time you check it out! First off, they have a bigger and more in-depth selection than any movie store I've ever been to. They also have a computer system that will help you find whatever you are searching for. You can search the director, or themes (like old cigarette commercials, or zombie flicks, etc). This is obviously one of the very few dvd rental stores left, and there's a reason they are still surviving. It's a very fun experience, and the archive is pretty unbelievable!! Also The staff is always one hundred percent helpful, educated, and you can truly tell that they genuinely love working there. Highly recommend!!

Heck no to letting this place close down! This place is an absolute gem and the people who work here are too! I just started going and I could spend way too much time here, which is great! I've already got the next movies I want to watch from there on a list. There aren't enough days in a year for me to be able to watch all the movies I want to watch from this store. It's kind of like the Powell's of movie rental stores. You can't just let a place like this disappear. It is two stories, rife with hidden gems in hidden corners, like secret passageways in a hobbit hole where the walls are super-organized movie shelves and the front door has snackies. Bilbo didn't have snackies at his front door, but this place does, And the employees are absolutely wonderful. They'll help you find anything and create a little light banter along the way, if you're that type. The whole atmosphere is just very chill, friendly, and cozy. I'll definitely be coming back. If you have $5-$10, drop in and give it a gander if you haven't already. You can even rent equipment to watch their movies for $6 for 7 days if you don't have a DVD or VHS player. I thrifted one which allows me to watch more movies, ones I actually want to watch and not doom scroll for forever while supporting a local business, but the service is there if you need it. Help local gems like this stay open! Save Our Scarecrow!

A super dense movie store, with a truly phenomenal selection. While most of the movies appeared to be for-rent, they did still have a fair number for sale.
I could’ve spent hours in here.
