I saw Dr. Schmidt for the first time about 25 years ago. I had two questions, one was about skin cancer. He checked my skin and moles etc. My second question was regarding acne. I was told by his staff to make another appointment for another time. I found someone else who could give me some time. A year or so ago, I decided to try him again. As I recall, the few appointments I had went fine. Desperate for help with my acne, I reached out again but this time due to Covid, I had to send photos because there were no in person appointments. I sent photos, I was told to start antibiotics and a prescription had been sent to my pharmacy. I didn’t get to speak with him, no history was taken, no review of what I had done previously. If you’re looking for someone to write a prescription, I suppose he’s fine. When I called about my elderly mother, who had also been seen by him in the past, I was given advice by the medical assistant. Mom was not seen. Her photos were not looked at. I’m sure Dr. Schmidt didn’t even know I called. It’s time to go somewhere else. I tried several times.
