Honestly I didn’t have an issue with this place until recently. If you have any medical concerns and your info is not up to date or haven’t been seen by them in two year or more they will not see you. They do not care if your concern about your health. I got scheduled until March for a resignation check up when I need to be seen asap. It’s ridiculous! When it comes to health problems there should not be policy like this. And don’t get me started on the receptionist. She in no way was comprehensive that I have health issues all she did was give me other places to call if I needed to be seen asap.

Front desk staff are very slow and unprofessional. I had an appointment scheduled months ago and was called 2 hours prior to the appointment by a receptionist saying there was a mix up and that they needed to reschedule me for 2 days later. I went ahead and told them that was fine. When I showed up at the new appointment I was told I didn't have an appointment that day and that I was a no call no show for the previous appointment. I explained that I had gotten called and rescheduled and they said they had no documentation of it. I showed them my caller ID and they told me to call the next morning to try and get a new appointment or they could schedule me one that was 2 months from now. I called the next morning and waited on hold for 45 minutes and never got through. I ended up pressing 1 for them to call me back and never received a call 😒

I cannot say enough good about Sea Mar. My PCP is here, and is by far the best doctor I've had. She makes time for me even when the clinic is busy, makes me feel heard, doesn't use use common medical industry stereotypes on patients, and has helped me get diagnosed with a long-term ongoing illness that other doctors dismissed. The desk staff are constantly harrassed by impatient people, but still are friendly, kind, and helpful. The clinic IS busy, and often you have to wait for a long time to see a PCP, but they mediate this with weekly walk-in times for each doctor. It can be a difficult ask, but they all clearly are working hard to ensure a huge population has medical care, and I appreciate everyone so much. Community health is an incredibly difficult industry, and I couldn't be more grateful for the entire staff.
