Made an appointment through kaiser permanentes website which, just like when you look them up showed an address of 515 minor avenue. I get up early, taking time off work and get there early and pay for parking. I stare at the screen of doctors and don't see the company or doctors name so I call the office. Oh that's not their address, it's off olive way but in the building Nordstrom is in and they don't have parking and you have to park in pacific place. Awesome... I punch in the address to my navigation and drove circles around the area unable to find the place. I call back frustrated and in tears as I've been dealing with back pain for years and this is just a horrible experience and the receptionist, Anna laughed. When I called her out she snapped at me that she wasn't laughing and if I wanted to reschedule to call back. No thanks. No communication about the wrong address and a rude receptionist I will pass.
RESPONSE TO OWNER AKA ANNA THE RECEPTIONIST...
I guarantee I am not the first person to go off the address listed off the two websites when we don't have the forms at home (sorry some of us fill them Out at work, send them back and that's all we see).... the fact that paperwork is the only thing with the right address it should be addressed when people call, and a reminder call for appointments should be made along with addessses mentioned. Some of us went off the KP website for the minor street address. But that's my fault apparently.
No directions were given to find the company and no note of the different address from two websites was mentioned. Only thing I was described after a confused call was just to park in a different parking lot and you were somewhere in the Nordstrom buildings. Not descriptive at all. Btw there was no parking by your building even after driving in circles for an extra half an hour.
You did in fact laugh and were rude, and it was very unprofessional (let alone sending a reschedule appt email within minutes). Being in pain for years, lacking sleep from the pain, and having an extra hope of a natural fix ripped out from under me from the lack of communication was a horrible experience on top of your laughing and then snapping at me when I said something about it. Sorry, when a customer is mistreated they need to speak up to bring this to someone's attention.
I will not take this as a blame on me,
I came to Seattle Acupuncture Associates not knowing much about acupuncture but I was willing to try anything other than surgery to fix my Carpal Tunnel condition. I saw Jim Blair who was very understanding and listened to what I had to say about the pain I was going through, the intense computer work I do and how the medical doctors were recommending surgical fixes. He then said he could help.
The session was pleasant, I did not even feel the needles. I left after that first session and driving home I noticed a change in my wrist and subsequent shoulder pain. It had subdued some... enough for me to go back and try it some more. After a total of 5 sessions I was completely pain free. I still don't understand how it worked but I don't care I'm just happy it does and I can continue to work.
Thank you Jim and Seattle Acupuncture Associates. You made a huge difference in my life and I can't thank you enough!
