I am a second year student at the Seattle Central Creative Academy (it's a two year program). It is easily the most rigorous and exciting academic experience I have ever had. The faculty are incredibly dedicated to your learning process and push you harder and father than you thought you could go. It has been a great and collaborative place to prepare for a career in the design and tech scene of this city. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I've had here so far and the ones yet to come.

If you're accepted, it's great, if not you must wait an entire year. It LOOKS good based on their open house. Not getting in made me reconsider everything about attending. Obviously you need some design classes or lots and lots practice doing exactly what they want to see. I figured I'd learn those skills in the classes, it's why I was trying to attend. So think of it more like MORE knowledge on top of what you've already learned, taught yourself. Shrug. I went from super excited to totally indifferent. Maybe after my serious irritation and frustration wears off I'll try again? Dunno, a year is a long time. But, it's cheap, fast and intense. I probably wasn't ready anyway.
