I am continually impressed by her knowledge and expertise in the field! She really knows a lot about the body and has helped me feel leagues better.
When I first went in to see Dr. Sam (Dr. Sharonrose Samelak) in July of 2017 , I couldn't walk upright or stand up straight. I had herniated a disc in my low back and had very severe sciatica symptoms down my left leg. I had horrible pain running down my leg and into my ankle and numbness and weakness in my big toe.
I was 7 months pregnant at the time and she has a lot of experience with pregnant women, so I felt I was in good hands. From the very first adjustment, she knew right away what was going on with my back and restored feeling and strength in my toe! A few treatments per week combined with physical therapy for 2 months and I was able to walk again without any assistance!
It's now October 2017 and I'm almost back to 100% and am now able to go for long walks with my 2 month old son and even able to do yoga again! I still see her every other week, but now it's for upper back/neck/shoulders issues from carrying around and breastfeeding a baby. I was having headaches radiating from the base of my head and near my temples, but since the last few adjustments, they've been gone! So glad I found her and I will continue seeing her to maintain my overall health. She continually modifies the treatment to whatever my body is doing that day, as things keep shifting and my daily activities keep changing.
She is so great at what she does and a great person, too. I highly recommend her!

There are not enough stars for Dr. Samelak! She is a consummate healer who is highly and diversely skilled. She brings a deep passion and commitment to her patients well-being! I began seeing her 5 years ago, shortly after a car accident involving a semi truck. I was a hot mess with a very complex case that other chiropractors (and most doctors in general) were unable to fully grasp and treat. Not only did I have alignment and soft tissue damage, I also was dealing with a head injury, PTSD, sensory issues and a fibromyalgia flare that made most treatment too painful to receive. Dr. Sam was able to find the right way to work with my body and support my nervous system, and she understood the sensory and neurological implications and how to work with them. When I say it was complex, she guided me through a quagmire of symptoms and she brought a level and knowledge, understanding, skill and compassion that is incredibly rare in any field. She is gentle, precise, intuitive, honoring, communicative, educational, and NEVER gives bullsh#t treatments. She was able to see the whole picture and treat me as a whole person and I left our sessions with very real relief and lasting healing. i truly don't know how I would have made it without her. I was a massage therapist for over 20 years and I sent many of my clients to her, including my doubters and delicate/complex cases - everyone loves her. One client even brought me champagne as a thank you for the recommendation. There simply aren't words for the gratitude I have for her as a healer and as a beautiful human. She is truly one in a million.

Dr. Samelak is amazing and has made SUCH a difference in my quality of life! I started seeing her to prepare for labor and birth, and she knew just how to help. Three years after my son was born, I'm still seeing her regularly. Dr. Sam has helped with my chronic neck and back pain related to stress and too much computing, and has also given me great referrals for other bodywork professionals to help me. She is responsive and compassionate, and never has put any pressure on me to pay for packages of visits, xrays or other 'extras'. Through C-19, she's taken extra precautions to make sure visits feel safe and I'm so thankful to have her expertise, professionalism and quirky sense of humor as a resource during a pandemic!
