The turn-off is sharp and sudden (and covered in trash and broken bottles, dangerous to go in and out, especially by a low bus bend in the hwy. Park a little further down the road into a nicer pullout (50m down the road).
The hike has gradients of 69-70 degrees and loose dirt, wear good shoes.
Completely exposed, w no water sources or shade. Bring lots of water and sun protection. Don't do it midday in the sun, you won't get far.
Goes on forever until you get to the other hwy, would be a good shuttle or trail run.
Have fun! Great flowers and colors of the sediment layers and view of the rivers.
