We had them come do a sewer scope before selling our house. They called us up a couple days later to say they couldn't make it to the main line because there were a bunch of roots, so we wouldn't be able to get a full report. They said they needed to hydrojet the line to provide the full scope. I asked if the initial scope charge would come out of the hydrojet cost. Yes.
A week later, they sent a bill for the hydrojet and the initial scope. +1 star for responding to quickly to drop the initial scope charge.
But they didn't get any further with the scope. They shared both the before and the after report at this point, which said the scope got stuck on an offset in the pipe. Hydro-jetting wasn't going to do us any good, and would we like to also pay them ~$10K to repair the section of sewer line with the offset?
No thanks
