I'll share my experience with this carrier. The location is a bit tricky to find, but the lady who helped me was very friendly. I wanted to ship some dietary supplements. She let me know that if I ship 5-10 bottles or more, the custom of China may charge tax. It's normal and applies to all carriers. She showed me the instructions and notices for customers, printed and hanged on the wall. I noticed an item saying "If the shipment values more than 2500CNY, the China custom will charge tax." Btw, 2500CNY is about 360USD. I discussed with her and we decided to ship just one bottle to test it out. The result is satisfying: my shipment arrived within one week, and the shipment cost is about 20% of UPS/Fedex/DHL. In addition, the destination of my shipment is a small city in China that major US carriers like UPS don't even cover.
It looks like the previous bad review are mostly about communication issues when packages are delayed, when custom charges tax, etc. I'd suggest shipping a small amount of items that cost less than $300.
NEVER use this Trashy China Express company. 3 weeks from China to USA. They will mail you the invoice by 1st class mail and do not call you or email you for duty charges. I email them how to pay for the duty charges, no one know I just need to call the Finance department and pay with credit card. But they don't care. Retarded employee. Mail on 25th and received my invoice in mail box on June 31. Then they don't give my phone number to UPS, and UPS is waiting for me to give them a call to schedule the delivery date and time. This delayed another day. This company should not do any express delivery in USA. My shipper gave them the shipment on May11 and now is june 1st, I still have not receive my shipment. What the HELLLLLL.
