When we reached out to SG Speech Therapy we were definitely coming from a place of fear and uncertainty for our daughter Emma. She was delayed with speech but an initial assessment we had with Kaiser for maybe 15-20 minutes stated she had the receptive behavior of a 1 month old and she was 19 months. Imagine our concern! On top of that it was going to be months before we'd even be able to start sessions with Kaiser.
We immediately began searching to find someone to work with out of pocket to get our daughter the help she needed. This led us to Sayeh. She is a true diamond and right away she eased our fears on the assessment given and how it was conducted. She answered each question we had with consideration and care and at the same time kept things open and honest.
Sayeh is truly a masterclass at understanding where a child is currently with their level of communication and what is needed to help them achieve their goals. She was such a great coach for us and we instantly saw Emma jump over mountains with her communication skills. Sayeh laid down such a great foundation for Emma and we will forever be grateful for her.
Emma is currently right were she needs to be. She says more words every day. Counts and does alphabet. She also uses hand signs that Sayeh showed us to help her communicate. She's a happy baby girl and Sayeh is a big part of that. It takes a village and Sayeh will always be a part of our tribe.
