After my daughter Sarah, her MOH Rachael and I had an in store meeting with Maryam, we knew we had chosen the perfect florist for Sarah's upcoming wedding. She listened to everything Sarah described to her (that she wanted her bridal bouquet and centerpieces to look like she walked though a meadow and picked the flowers herself), and sent us images of her interpretation of what she thought Sarah would love-and she NAILED IT!
We communicated often-with Maryam confirming colors and flower choices, set up times, etc. Maryam was always quick to answer all questions-I never had to wait more than a day for an answer-and typically she answered immediately-especially the weeks before the wedding.
Sarah's and all 8 bride's maid bouquets, the centerpieces the way she decorated the gazebo-perfection.
But in addition to all the above-Maryam went over and above her contracted responsibilities.
Our venue was at a country club overlooking a beautiful golf course/lake. The ceremony was to be help in a lovely gazebo, that was framed in flowering bougainvillea with a white picket fence lining the side with rose bushes. There was a sand pit in the cocktail area we were going to have decorated with a large heart, with their initials in it, and candles. It was stunning.
Imagine our shock, concern and disappointment on Sarah's wedding day when we see all the beautiful bushes were just cut back, no flowers, and the sandpit had brown/nasty water in it!
Seeing the conditions- and knowing how stressed/overwhelmed I was with everything going on that day, on her own, Maryam opted to jump into action and SAVED our day. She filled the bushes around the gazebo with beautiful flowers AND she decorated the sandpit with upright flowers that looked like they were growing naturally in the water.
Maryam is creative, listens to you, quick to respond, dependable and AMAZING to work with.
