A wonderful spot that you should absolutely add to your Idyllwild trip. A cozy, newly updated modern rustic interior that is relaxing and enjoyable. A wide assortment of delicious teas prepared with skill and craft that really stand out. To add to it, they have some wonderful baked goods and some unexpected treats and a small shop in the "library" in the back with a great selection of items from books to bath. The staff was amazing and they were also dog friendly. It was the calmest our dog has ever been in a store, so bonus points for the fantastic atmosphere they have built.

Shala is my favorite place in idyllwild to spend a quiet morning drinking tea! I’ve tried hard to work my way through the menu and everything is seriously delicious. Lots of fun, unique flavors and new spins on classic teas. They also have seasonal flavors that keep the menu fresh and interesting. The baked goods are so so good as well. Also, if there’s a tea you love, you can get a bag of it to take home!
Everything about Shala is just incredibly inviting and cozy. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book or journal. I’m so stoked to have them in Idyllwild! Not to be missed if you are in town visiting.

The shop is beautifully decorated and service excellent. I had the Silk Road chai and an ube cookie, so delicious! Honestly one of the best cookies I’ve had in a while.
