Very nice ambiance. Parking is usually street side but we did not have a problem twice we visited. The host/owner was amazing and very welcoming.
Very decent Kababs. Specially loved their spicy chicken kababs(forgetting the actual name on menu).
Their gravies are great too. We tried their Goat Karahi and Jaipuri Chicken gravy. Both would be great choices on any day. I prefer Hyderabadi Biryani but their Biryani was pretty decent too.
Naan is a little dry and heavy - you could make a meal with one naan alone. Ask them to butter your naan if possible.
And yes, they do serve Halal meats! Completely satisfied!
I must have been to Shalimar for over 10 years. It has never disappointed. Classy atmosphere, fantastic food and very good service. Mr. Yousef, whom I got to know after many years, is a gentleman, and he is very focused on giving his customers a great experience at great value.
You should have the standard Indian fare here, all well prepared. If you are adventurous, try the chicken tika masala pasta. You'd be very pleasantly surprised.
I'd always come back here.
