It takes him at least 3 days to respond to a prescription refill request, knowing that the medication has run out and not having it could mean having seizures. Waiting three days or more for a doctor to sign off on a prescription refill is ridiculous.
Update: called Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before thanksgiving to get a refill since the meds would run out on Thanksgiving. No response and no refill called in. So now there’s 4 days with no meds. I don’t know how this is ethical. Do no harm, right? Well Dr. Shepard is causing harm and continues to do so.
Update 2: it’s been over a week with multiple calls with no refill, no call back, nothing. I’m flabbergasted at this point.
