I moved to Marin a year ago and I was lucky enough to find this gem. Sandra is super sweet and genuinely cares for you. I have thick and curly hair so it’s hard to be satisfied with a cut. All the previous hair salons I’ve been to, never took the time to advise the right haircut for my type of hair like Sandra does. Sandra is very professional and has my full trust. Shear Joy is my new forever hair salon. I totally recommend this place!

One of the very few times that I get my haircut exactly how I wanted! Great service and value :) Sandra was very kind and attentive to detail. I would recommend 100%

Sandra is awesome! She does an excellent job on my hair, and is even better with kids' haircut. She takes reservations online which helps a lot, but this out of the way shop never gets too busy that the wait is too long. Nice clean inviting barber shop, surrounded by great food options so you can make a trip of it.
