A wonderful Montessori preschool to bring your child too! Going on 22 years open, Sheila's criteria and activities help teach the children to read, write, comprehend, solve, and much more. Take it from me; I was once a student there and it has helped me excel to great heights. I currently go to Capuchino High School, and am in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB Program). These are rigorous college classes that I wouldn't even have had a chance at taking if it weren't for the education I received as a child. I also have been accepted into my first choice university to begin some classes, due to excelling the average standards of a student. Honestly, I'm glad I learned how to do basic math, read, and comprehend at such a young age; it has helped me grow as a student, and as a person. Furthermore, if you're looking for a high end Montessori for your child and WANT them to learn, I recommend going to Sheila's In Home Learning Program. You won't regret it :)
Also, regarding the negative view from 7 years ago, my mom found out from one of the other parents that they had bounced a check; it was purposely done because they were mad about the school being closed the day after Thanksgiving. They wanted to go skiing that day, but also wanted to drop their child off before they went. She told me that the way those parents reacted to Sheila being closed was very unprofessional. Just wanted to state the story clearly and truthfully. :)
