The staff is very knowledgeable and saved me from making a big mistake of putting polyurethane over an old Poly finish. Ended up painting instead, looks great and is better protected and cost much less in materials and labor. When I need more paint I just call, and they have it mixed and ready when I arrive. Great service!

Very poor customer service. Went to the Smoky Point store for a deck stain system. We went to the stains and received no help, not even an acknowledgement we we're there. We managed to find what we wanted, not through any help from staff, but by the literature on the shelf. Only when we went to the counter with the product did anyone say anything and that was only a "Be right with you" from a guy in the back mixing paint. There was a person out front but he was focused on selling someone a bucket. After he made that sale he served two people that came in behind us. The guy in the back never came out from mixing paint to find out what we needed (we needed the stain we found tinted the color we wanted). When the kid pointed to a third person that came in after us and said "You're next" we walked out. No one ever acknowledge what we wanted and everyone else was served first. I spent weeks researching the best stains and value for our project and chose Sherwin-Williams. There are better stains that cost more and now those are what I am going with. Been to this store three times and service is always sparse. Today set a new standard for them. Will never be back. If you really, really have to go here, call ahead and schedule an appointment.

Came in today to buy deck stain and cleaner. We were not acknowledged at any time during our search for the correct product. 2 people working in the store. One in the back working on mixing paint never came out to the front at all. I stood at the counter with the items we wished to purchase for quite a long time while my husband browsed. I was NEVER acknowledged. It was not until my husband finally came to stand that the guy on the back said he would be out to help us..... shortly..... Which never happened. While we waited, 2 others coming into the store after us were acknowledged and served. The kid at the front counter was not aware of his customers and who had been waiting the longest, just flitted around and helped easiest first. Very poor service, and although I like the product, I will never return.
