I've had this store refuse to sell me paint twice because I wouldn't upgrade to what they were pushing or they decided I needed something different than what I asked for. I have never had a store refuse to sell me something in my life. I have been painting for over 40 years, I know what I am doing. I did call after they refused to sell to me the first time and they said that is not their policy but it happened a second time. I decided I needed to leave a review because my daughter went in to buy a sample quart the other day and they refused to sell it to her. Told her she needed a $70 qt of cabinet paint to 'touch up' a chalk painted shelf.

Yesterday we rented a paint sprayer and worked with a young lady who was so helpful and accommodating. She took extra time to show us how to use the machine and suggested online resources to help. Originally we thought the sprayer would make a small project easier, but unfortunately when we got home we realized it was too much power for the fine spray we needed. We returned the machine in less than an hour and fully expected to pay as it was our mistake but the store offered to waive the fee. We have normally purchased paint supplies at other stores but will certainly come back to Sherwin Williams for our painting needs in the future!

Great experience all around. No problem at all mixing up the exact color I needed from the label off an old can while I waited. Matched perfectly. Super friendly fast service. My new go-to paint store.
