This was a birthday meal for my son so I really wanted this to be a great selection. We were not disappointed! We were greeted by the chef's in the prep area as soon as we walked through the door. The front dining room is not very large but we didn't feel cramped at all. We had reservations and waited about 5 minutes to get seated. The atmosphere here was not stodgy or too quiet and made for comfortable conversation at our table. We ordered the flat fee Chef's Choice Sushi Course, which is a 5 course, 19 piece meal. Presentation, flavors, selection...it was awesome! Paired with good sake', it cannot be beat! (See pics) Our waitress was extremely pleasant and explained the pieces in the meal at each delivery...I wish I remembered her name to give a shout out, sorry. The area where this restaurant is located isn't bad but parking will be tough as this area has a number of dinner establishments. Figure out where the parking is ahead of time. We actually walked from Queen Anne area. I highly recommend Shiro's and will be back next time I'm in town!

Just had the best omakase at Shiro’s, Chef Sean and Chef Taro are extremely attentive, quirky and fun to chat with. Not to mention the quality of the fish are is of the best I’ve had in the continental US. Highly recommend this place and if you can, reserve their omakase at the Sushi bar instead of regular table service. Love ❤️
