Old guy didn’t want to do a gun transfer because he didn’t want to deal with a potential hassle of a background check not going well. I am a Washington resident trying to transfer a pistol to another party who is a Oregon resident. Old guy saw that I was from out of state and straight said that he doesn’t want to do it. Old man assumed that the receiving party has a criminal record, I and the other party knew the transfer process and we both have no criminal record. This was the second time we went here because the first time, we arrived after 4 pm and he doesn’t do transfers after 4 pm. So we just wasted our time for nothing but horrible service. By the way, a gun store/pawn shop that can do transfers can do it regardless if seller is from out state. As long as the buyer is from Oregon, so clearly this old guy had something against me, the buyer or both. I don’t recommend anyone to shop at this place, they don’t seem to have much weapon selections. Rather waste my money at a Cabela’s or another high priced store, at least I will be treated with respect.

Don over there was excellent! He was friendly and knowledgeable and got our transfer done quickly with no problems and had some good conversation as well. Recommend if you’re looking for a friendly neighborhood gun store. 👍

These owners are one of kindest people in St. Johns. Always feel very welcomed coming in. Theres plenty of closer gun stores to near me in Montavilla, but I make the drive for how helpful and nice these people are.
Do a little bit of research everyone, doesn't make sense to have a bunch of stock because of where measure 114 is right now. But mostly any firearm you want, they can order it for you. Or give them a call on some that you're looking at online and they can ship it here and finish up the paper with you, hassle free.
