Feldenkrais had been recommended to me a a modality that could help with my riding. As a competitive equestrian, how you use your body is directly reflected in how the horse moves. Biomechanics are everything. Shrutee helped me understand movement in a way that was entirely new and transformative.
I’d been going to horse shows making the same mistakes with my pelvis tucked, draining the forward momentum with my buckskin. We worked on loosening my hips and finding a neutral pelvis. I ended many sessions standing up tall and feeling like a queen, like I was actually wearing my crown! Her guided recordings did a nice job of helping me visualize what I need to do to find that place outside of our sessions together.

I am a Pilates teacher and have taught for 20 years. Shrutee's classes and her teaching have opened my mind to another depth of understanding and how my body can move most comfortably and efficiently. I have a couple chronic achy spots in my body and taking her classes has not only given me hope about understanding why this is, but it has also brought me relief already. I highly recommend working with Shrutee!

I recently saw Shrutee for the first time as I was seeking relief from injuries caused by having been hit by a car as a pedestrian. Shrutee has a wonderful and calming energy and creates a comfortable and peaceful environment. After one session, of Feldenkrais, I was able to stand up straight with ease rather than my usual slumping :) I came away as if I had been refueled and look forward to continuing treatments and healing!
