My go to place for nail art/designs!

I started going to this nail salon about 5 months ago and I have found it to be not at all worth what they are charging. I always get an acrylic full set/refill or the regular pedicure. With their acrylic work, I have found that they don’t appropriately cut cuticles or prep the area around my nails and acrylic isn’t smooth and even on my nail. When I have had 1-2 nails fall off and I go get a refill, I have even charged $5/tip they have had to replace. I asked about this, and they justified it by saying since a fulls set is $60, each nail is at least $6 so that’s why they charge $5 to replace the tip. If it’s $6 per nail with the polish, why would I pay $5 for a plastic tip?? Doesn’t make sense, I felt fleeced. My advice: don’t make this mistake by charging these excessive add-on costs or you will lose repeat customers. Overall, I felt very excessively-charged for a poor level and quality of work. There are other nails salons that do a lot better work for the same cost or less.

Went for manicures with my Aunt and cousin while visiting them in Oakland. Overall Emmy did great work but seems she is the only one who does designs so she was definitely working hard. Overall a great salon full of awesome women who do good work. I LOVE how my Christmas nails turned out. Be warned, there is a $25 removal fee for acrylics or dip which definitely inflated my price a bit but otherwise I would highly recommend.
