Silver Star has been a game changer for me. Living in a small rural town you usually only have one land based internet choice that is horrible. I use this service and get exactly the speeds that I pay for and receive communication on when outages occur.
Talking about outages - we have only experienced a few in the 1.5 years I have had this service and all were caused by outside parties, not negligence by Silver Star. Each time I have reported an outage I have been texted updates on the repairs. Ted has been awesome to work with and very communicative on expected outage repair times.
As far as ISP's go, Silver Star has been the best I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend them. Look them up and see if they are available in your area if you are rural.
