Went in for a smog but they were busy, set me up for an appt later that day, went back and it was done in 20 minutes. Good price, friendly service. I paid attention to other customers and they all seemed happy and it seemed like good honest work going on there.

Went in for an oil change 3 weeks ago, Tom seemed nice enough and I expected a good, quick, affordable service based on local recommendations and Google reviews. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. $256 later, and two filters I didn’t ask for, I drove home disappointed and disillusioned. I can’t understand why on earth it would cost that much for a simple oil change. I should have spoken up at the time, but I did not. Yes, I’m not from the ridge and have Virginia plates. Does that mean I received non-local pricing? Who knows but that’s the only thing that makes sense to me. I wanted to warn others who may consider using Sinclair’s—especially if you aren’t from Paradise. My hope is Tom sees this review, reaches out and we can have a conversation about the reason(s) behind this particular ripoff on the ridge.
