I used SJC for 4 years and they were fantastic. I ended the relationship because I sold the property because I moved out of state and needed the proceeds for my next house. My relationship was with Dan Hunt. He was always very quick to reply to emails, answer phone calls, and he was easy to talk to and discuss issues with the property. I never had anything huge come up in the 4 years but I did have lots of little things like post removals, light post removals and filling in, spigot issues, shower replacement, water heater replacement, toilet leaking fixes, a car into the wall and had a new tenant come in. He was always quick to get repairs done and was very good with information and recommendations on rent prices and increases. Their pdf you get for billing is a little confusing at first, but basically it would break down the cost of the property and their percentage of cost and they would do this for utilities that were paid for by them and then billed to the tenant for reimbursing. Again, when I was confused I called Dan and it made sense. He took the time to help me understand and it made sense for the next 4 years of statements. I was paid on the same day every month, and never found an issue with the costs in the 4 years. I would recommend their services to anyone, and two of my friends have used them and have been happy with their services. Of note, I did not realize that they do real estate services. I had already signed with a realtor when I found out they did, but in the event you are looking to buy property through them or if you are going to sell a property you own with them, I would have liked to use them based on Dan's knowledge of real estate. I have no doubt he would be a good realtor to use, ESPECIALLY if you are purchasing a rental property. I would have liked to give them my business in the real estate side and had his knowledge on closing. Highly recommended.
