I received excellent service here. They replaced my transmission, expediting the process as much as they could while being professional, kind and empathetic during my time of need! They included a three year warranty that follows the vehicle should I sell it too. That's a nice peace of mind to have after unexpectedly having the transmission go out on an otherwise reliable truck.
I highly recommend Kayle and Skagit Transmission for your automotive needs. They're an asset to the community and I wish them continued success!

About 6 months ago we brought our Dodge Journey into Skagit Transmission for a torque converter replacement. Needless to say the service was outstanding ( see prior review). A little over two weeks ago as I was driving I heard a loud "Clunk" come from the front center of our car. I limped it home and immediately put it up on jack stands to see what was creating this horrid noise. I actually thought maybe a CV Axle went out. When I climbed under the vehicle I found three of the Bolts that secure the PTU to the transmission and upper motor mount were completely out and one completely missing. I honestly wasn't quite sure how these bolts managed to dislodge themselves from the PTU. I quickly got on the phone and called Skagit Transmission and tried to describe what I saw. They returned my call but I wasn't able to answer. So I stopped in and spoke with Kayle in person. I explained what I saw and described the symptom I experienced. Kayle responded by stating " Let's get the vehicle here, I'll pay for the tow and we'll get up on the rack and see what's happened". Three days later the Journey was at Skagit Transmission and Kayle called me and stated " In twenty years of doing this, I've never seen a PTU let go like that. So for now I'm going to assume ALL responsibility for the repair. However, I want to pull the PTU out and open it up and see if something internal gave out. But for now the repair is on me". Today (9/06/24) Kayle called and left a mess asking me to call him back. Kayle explained to me that while it was possible the bolts weren't torqued properly when they installed the torque converter 6 months ago, he also discovered that the front bearing to the PTU froze up and that may have caused the bolts to give out. HOWEVER, because Kayle believed he couldn't be %100 certain, Skagit Transmission was going to cover the ENTIRE cost of the repair! Wow, just Wow!!! Skagit Transmission is truly one of the rarest automotive repair shops in this industry! They simply weren't willing to compromise their integrity and professionalism because they couldn't be %100 certain of caused this problem! I'm seriously contemplating contacting a local news station to share this story with! Skagit Transmission is an Ambassador to the Transmission Repair Industry! Words cannot express our gratitude! You simply are the best out there! Don't take your vehicle anywhere else Period! Thank you again Kayle and Stephanie!
