Do yourself a favor and book a stay at Skamania Lodge. It's one of the most unique and beautiful locations I've stayed in. I had an epic time, didn't even get to all the activities offered. I was happily in awe of the views and the walking trails and the proximity to the Colombia River. The staff is amazing and does an exceptional job. Even the gift shop was surprisingly great with unique gifts. This place is EVERYTHING!!

Stayed there for a night back between home and vacation on the Oregon coast. The staff were efficient, and the rooms were really nice. Beds were comfy, the showers had great pressure, and the bath supplies are fabulous. I loved the lemongrass body wash. The view is what pretty much floors you when you go inside though. Good lord, it's stunning. The decor is pretty nice, rustic but upscale. The bartender was super friendly, and the drinks weren't bad. We had dinner and my friends got huge ribeye steak specials that looked impressive. The bread and dip appetizer was good, I think it has mushroom and hummus and a pesto in it? The hot tub outside has a waterfall and is great to enjoy. Either way, it was a lovely experience. If I knew about the zip lines, etc I would have TOTALLY booked those too! ❤️

Mixed feelings about this place- we went here to celebrate a special birthday thinking the lodge would also feel like a special treat. It has beautiful vistas and grounds and a lovely pool but it’s almost too big and crowded.
We made reservations at the Cascade Room restaurant knowing it was expensive but was hoping for a quiet, fine-dining experience and it was anything but that. Big, open room with hard surfaces that magnify the voices and it just didn’t feel like it was worth the hefty prices. We could have just eaten in the bar. They did, however, give us a complimentary dessert for the birthday which we appreciated.
Our room had a great view but the mattress was worn out and the bed creaked getting in or out of it.
I think this lodge is likely good for families but not quite the special occasion lodge we had hoped for and was advertised.
