I was not too far from here, when my wife and I,on our vacation in San Francisco,October 2015, went to Sausalito, as part of our tour in San Francisco....We took the "Golden Gate Bridge"tour, and later, went on a 1.5 mile hike through the "Muir Woods"....."Skywalker Ranch" is not open to the public,because it's a private filmmaker's retreat , and the bulk of "Industrial Light and Magic" studios and offices are in "The Presidio" in San Francisco. "Skywalker Sound" have studio space/offices here and things of that description for pre and post production ....They have private tours for movie industry personnel and the like.....Nicasio,CA is between 15-25 miles from "Muir Woods" and a little further, coming from Sausalito.....There's also a Bed and Breakfast, and a restaurant for clients of Lucasfilm and it's affiliates....As I said at the top of this post, this property is not open to the public....

Would LOVE to visit that place, as a Jedi but it's the property of George Lucas and it's his "second" home. (Well he DOESN'T live there). From a die-hard Star Wars, metalhead, fanboy. May the force be with ya!
