Unfortunately, I am forced to visit this food bank once or twice a month, as I am a very low income senior citizen. I have a lot of problem with some of the VOLUNTEERS, who are very rude and makes you feel like a beggar. Today a man volunteer told me, I can't take a loaf of bread, as I didn't choose when I entered the line. As the bread is at the end of line, I assumed(and that's how everyone did before)you pick at the end of line. Anyway, this man, who didn't even wear a name tag, humiliated me in front of everyone. He told me "you didn't pick when you entered the line, you can't have one, though luck". As they have tons of bread, they usually throw out a lot, but I was denied one today. Most volunteers are friendly and helpful, although I noticed, some of them hide the better items to give it to their friends. I witnessed this today, a woman volunteer gave a huge bag of coffee to her friend , which she dag out from under some boxes. When I tried to look in there to find the same, she told me, I can't do that.
