Snowman’s Sledding Hill

One of the best free sledding areas I have seen. Bring your own sled. No rentals there.

Have only one restroom on site...expect the worst going in).

Parking is limited. Parking lot was covered with snow. Try to park at the start of the lot if you don't have 4wd or at least good tires. Sedan car may refused to go all the way and you need to bring it back in reverse.

Walk up. Sled down. Have fun. Good sized parking lot with a bathroom at the bottom. Trees have been cleared for a good sized run.

We visited Mount Shasta city at the end of winter and the tubing for kids had already been stopped at the Mount Shasta Ski Park. So we bought a sled for our kids and had fun for free at this hill. It is big enough to have a few hours of fun for the kids.
