To start, the service of both the front desk and the nurses/doctors inside were exceptional. A procedure that was booked up for months with any other place as available right away. From the reassurance that everything was going to be alright to the wholesome check-ins, I really felt like I was in safe hands. Rather than some scary doctor’s office, this place felt homey and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will continue to go here and recommend them to everyone, whenever I get the chance. Thank you SoCal Breathe!

My experience here was great! I needed to get my ears cleaned of stuck ear wax. I made an appointment the day before, and when I showed up the staff was welcoming. The waiting area was clean and offered coffee and water, which was a nice touch! It was a very short wait time before they sat me down for some basic imaging. Shortly after that, I saw the doctor about my issue, and he cleared out all of the ear wax. I could hear again! What a relief. He was friendly and funny, and the whole visit could not have taken more than 30 minutes. They were efficient and nice, and I feel much better now! Thanks, Dr. Hershcovitch and team!

Had a balloon sinuplasty, turbinate reduction, and a septoplasty and leaving this review 12 days post-op.
The good:
- Easy scheduling: I was able to get a same day appointment.
- In-house CT scan: They were able to do a CT scan immediately, which helped speed up the process.
- After-hours support after the procedure, they were always available to answer my questions and concerns even on weekend evenings.
- I noticed my congestion improving after 4 days post-op, and now 12 days I'm breathing way better than before, and SO GLAD I did it. I suffered from extreme Afrin dependency for over a year, frequent allergy issues and sinus infections, and only breathing at 50% capacity at best. I'm so glad I did this procedure.
The bad:
- The actual procedure was awful for me. Everyone in the office would consistently say it's not that bad, but I regretted not being put under for it. Though it only took maybe 15-20 minutes, I don't think I had enough painkillers (they give you a concoction of Valium, percocet, and Oxy) because it was awful. I had to keep asking for local anastesia, and I didn't feel like the doctor was tuned into my discomfort (he brushed off audible "THAT HURTS" and proceeded). If I did this process over again, I would've found a place that did full anesthesia personally (I don't have negative reactions to anesthesia). However, I couldn't wait any longer and so I'm glad it's over in retrospect.
- I wish I would've met the surgeon beforehand - it would've made me feel more comfortable the day of the procedure.
- The splints were very uncomfortable (also something I was told wouldn't be that bad). I only had them in for 2.5 days but it caused an insane headache, even with taking all the medications. Once they were out though, it was fine.
Overall, I'd recommend this place for diagnosis and service, but if you think you need to go under full anesthesia because of pain sensitivity, then perhaps go elsewhere.
