Dr.Shiland breached HIPA by not only discussing my medical with my abuser but based his diagnosis on the lies my abuser told him.
During the exam, I was in great pain from an undiagnosed significant bone spur on my femur that shredded the hip socket. He was told by my abuser that my medical complaints were nothing more than attention seeking behaviors. He did NOT preform the proper examination. He merely had my stand as he walked around me, then told me there was nothing wrong with me.
That undiagnosed bone spur led to chronic infection the ultimately led to hydro syphilis and sepsis that almost killed me.
If I had known I could have sued him I would have. He is a closet misogynist who believes women exaggerates their symptoms of pain. I highly recommend going elsewhere!
