Mercedes worked with us for the birth of both of our children. With our first son, she helped prepare with her before the birth and also provided invaluable help postpartum with breastfeeding, baby wearing, and many other things that we still rely on to this day with both of our children! We were excited to have her back when our second son was going to be born. It ended up that I had a very fast labor. But I was so relieved and glad when she arrived at the birth center to be with me moments prior to his birth! I would recommend her to all expectant parents! She has even provided assistance to us well beyond the scope of being there at the birth including books, contacts with folks who do related things in the birthing world, etc. She worked with us as a doula but I am sure she would be a fantastic midwife also!!
