I will be staying here every time I go to Vancouver. They are very accommodating especially the young lady in the front desk. The 2 bedroom with kitchenette worked very well with our needs. The breakfast is hot and simple, a good start for the day. The staff are nice and service is top notch.

I was really impressed by a lot of the small conveniences at the Sonesta. My husband and I have different sleep patterns, so having a door between the bedroom and lounge area was super convenient. Rooms were clean. The mattress was comfortable. The kitchenette was larger than expected and well stocked with cups, plates, and items to wash and dry your dishes. Lots of hooks for hanging things (like towels) and plenty of closet space for coats. Any staff we talked with were friendly and welcoming, and while we only did the continental breakfast once, there was a good variety of different types of foods. Would definitely recommend the Sonesta as a great place to stay!

But this hotel is very much in need of a facelift and update. Old card key system they demagnetizes your room card every time it touches your phone, only 1 very old and slow elevator to service entire hotel. The pancake machine didn’t work the entire team we were there (what’s a free breakfast buffet without a waffle or pancake machine!!). Room walls are thin so a bit noisy. And need a card key for everything, including while hanging in patio outside and pool area to get back into the hotel in the middle of the day.
