Great service! Andy took my Ibanez electric bass that came from the factory with a badly cut nut and in need of a proper setup and dialed it in perfectly! I'm very happy I found Songcatcher Guitars.

Brought in a 1997 Collings D2H with the seam behind the bridge separating slightly (~1/128 inch, depending upon humidity). Andrew did a fine job cleating and regluing the seam, and redid the nitro finish so it's unnoticeable. More importantly, the tone didn't change, which on a first-rate Collings dread would be easy to screw up, because they're lightly braced and very resonant. Very good work, good luthier, and very easy to work with/accomodating. Guess it'll take a few years to see if the seam is going to stay closed, but it seems very solid. Recommended.

Andy has done work on my J-15 twice now. He’s articulate, detail oriented, and a very nice guy. The work he’s done has been very satisfactory both times, and I’ll continue to take my guitars to him in the future!
