Well, that was a disappointment. We waited 25 minutes for a table, okay that's fine, it's busy. Got our waters and such, then nothing. Okay, that's fine, it's busy. Then... nothing? My party was chatting and being patient, but we realized it had been well over 25 minutes and never even had our order taken yet or checked in on once. I had to stand up to go flag someone down who went to find our server, but then that person came back and took our order instead of our server coming.
We never got our onion soups we ordered, but the sushi rolls came out pretty quickly, so that's a plus. By this point we were quite hungry so ate our sushi, but only 1 out of 4 rolls would be something we would order again (if you do come here, get the spider roll! It is really good).
One person in our party wanted dessert, but of course we still have not seen our original server the whole time, so we didn't bother waiting for dessert to happen. I again had to go flag someone down and ask for the check. Only then did I realize that by this point, the restaurant was maybe half cleared out, so why then, were we still forgotten about in the back? It ended up being faster to simply go to the register to pay, at which point I had to make sure to ask for the onion soups to be removed from the check since they never came.
Side note as well, the paint on the walls looked shoddy (check by where the table would rub the wall) and the lighting was really dim. I suppose the side room area may be much better in the daytime, but alas, it is now fall and dark by dinner time. I don't really trust a restaurant that is too dark - what else can't I see? I guess I'm wondering why a bit of a touch up and maybe a few more lights to turn on all winter wasn't done before they opened.
