Updated review 07/18/23 What a major disappointment in Sonic. There at 5:30 and the place was completely empty and I now know why. Ordered the 5 strip chicken and it was beyond bad, really tasteless and obviously had been cooked for hours and left in the warmer, not visually appealing, altogether gross, see photo. The Texas toast was old and limp, had no flavor, the tater tots tasteless which is surprising. What a shame, I've been eating Sonic over 50 years and this meal is by far the worst I've had from any Sonic. The quality is just not there, I don't know if the franchise operators are now ordering inferior product to save some coin or what is going on, but I can tell you these places cannot financially remain in operation with food like this being served. What a shame
Sonic, food above average for fast food, staff was pleasant and friendly, service quick. Prices are up, but not sky high. Chose here after going to Popeyes (next door to Sonic) for fried chicken until I got to the menu board and saw their truly CRAZY prices, $14 for a 3 strip meal - guess that explains why there were no customers there at 5:15pm.
