The service from the clinic pharmacy is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. After calling the pharmacy THREE times before someone answered, I requested a refill of a medication I regularly take (gave them the name and dosage multiple times on the phone). They said it would be ready for pickup in 2 hours. I showed up after 2 hours and the medication wasn't ready. After waiting there for 20 minutes I got the medication, but when I got home I realized THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG MEDICATION. They had given me a medication that I was prescribed last year and had experienced adverse side effects with. I suppose it's my fault for not checking the prescription label before I left??! Even though I TOLD them which medication I needed and the pharmacist didn't verify which meds she was giving to me when I arrived?! Unacceptable! By the time I had waited almost 3 hours for my refill and realized they had given me the wrong one, the pharmacy was closed and I couldn't take my medication. Thank goodness this happened to me, and not someone who absolutely needed the correct medication for a more serious health issue. This pharmacy is unorganized, the pharmacists are careless, and this poor service puts people at risk.

I went in for what ended being an ear infection, and the nurse practitioner that came in the room tried patronizing me into not having the doctor I came to see, come in to see me. I told him that I had taken ibuprofen so that I could drive to the care center, and he ended up prescribing some ear drops for my ear. They cost me $75, and didn’t work. I ended up going to a free clinic, where the doctor volunteering there gave me regular antibiotics, and the infection felt better in a few days. I also had my blood taken here once and the nurses were very unprofessional. They talked about all of the people that had fainted that day, and I also fainted that day. As I was I passing out, I could hear one of them saying, “I can’t believe I have to do more paperwork for this.” Maybe the problem was their bedside manner, not all of the patients that day.

My experience at Sonoma Valley Community Health Center has been positive. Everyone I have interacted with has been lovely, kind, and quite helpful. Dr. Lloyd in chiropractic has been great. He’s a good person and has helped me heal my back. I always feel better after visiting with him. Both mental and physically.
