This is one of those adorably cute spots that you just don't bring your LA judgement/hyper-critical alter ego to. Come here knowing this is a local favorite and an old fashioned diner. I loved all of the locals that venture here. There is such a friendly atmosphere here and the food (not judging like I typically do of LA spots) was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. The gravy was creamy and perfectly paired with the steak. I could barely walk out of the diner after the large portions of my breakfast. My fiance enjoyed their Breakfast Sandwich with sausage. This came as sandwich rather than the expected croissant or another soft bread. The sandwich overall was good, he may try another breakfast item on our second trip over. Service was simply incredible, we had the lovely waitress that just made us feel we were in her own home kitchen.
For my fellow LA people, this is a cozy diner with only the best of company. Those seeking fancy brunches will be disappointed. But those seeking cozy breakfast to start their day will simply fall in love with this local spot.
