A great place for a simple hike for beginners! And you also learn about the beautiful redwoods as you walk through the trees learn about their wonderful history.

Nice small parking lot with trail access to the South Grover, Beaver Creek, and plenty of places to hike and picnic. The only draw backs to this piece of my forest would be the dilapidated state of much of the infrastructure and the intolerable number of flatlanders making noise and infesting the region during tourist season.

Great trail to walk with limited crowds and see big trees. Much less crowded than the North Grove at Big Trees State Park. Most of the sequoias here are tucked away so you really have to get a good hike to see the bigger trees. The trail maintenance crew was out and I have never seen so many people working on a trail. Trail was immaculate.
