Dawn Heino has truly changed my life. I saw her for almost 3 years in my childhood to help with my Sensory Processing Disorder - mainly water therapy. She helped me learn how to cope with my SPD and how to face my fears. She is patient, kind, funny, and so supportive! It is because of her that since I was in middle school I have been pursuing a career in OT. She has guided me not only through my journey in OT, but also on my journey to becoming an OT! I am so grateful I have the privilege of knowing Dawn and am so thankful for all she has helped me with.

I’ve worked with Dawn doing the Play Project for over a year and a half and I can not recommend her services enough! She has been a huge help with my son and she always has good ideas on things we could try. We’ve seen tremendous progress and Dawn’s support undoubtedly was a big part of that!

Dawn was one of our first Occupational therapists to work with my son when he was diagnosed with autism. At the time 2 years old, non-verbal and with significant sensory and milder motor issues. In addition to speech therapy and weekly OT, we did the PLAY Project with Dawn and I truly believe this is what made the difference to help my son hit his stride and open up and start making significant gains. In addition, having these videos now that we took monthly to monitor his progress is priceless and Now we can go back and see how far he has come and what we learned from Dawn really helped us help our son but also helped him grow and I have been recommending the PLAY project to every parent since. I promise it is a different way of treating autism and teaching parents how to play with their kiddos! And works in conjunction with typical therapy regimens and definitely adds to a child’s progress as it did for us! I couldn’t recommend her services more!!!
