I LOVE SOCPA. I have bringing my 7 year old daughter to them since she was a newborn. We most often visit the Ladera Ranch office, but have frequented the El Toro office. Both locations have a spectacular standard of care. Whether it's for same day sick visits or regular check up, both my daughter and I are treated with respect and compassion. I'm so thankful for the way SOCPA has helped my girl grow!
I would say that the overall aesthetics of the Ladera office are prettier and more modern than the El Toro, but we come for great care, not looks.
SOCPA has the best pediatricians!!!
Charged $180 to 'remove impacted ear wax' twice on two unscheduled office visits - which were themselves anywhere between $150 and $223 between three total different visits. No way to know what they're going to charge you when you walk in. The billing code for the ear wax was a surgical code. Doc used a q-tip. Literally. Imagine going in because baby has a cold, doc sits there and says 'oh look, some wax - let me take care of that real quick,' and then getting a bill for $180 + office fees for that. Twice.
Look elsewhere.
