I like the idea of this program and facility. I could so see it working for me very well. Unfortunately due to medical issues I had to leave the program early on a medical discharge. I loved the set guidelines of the schedule and structure. But do feel there are two many smoke breaks.(and in a smoker) Basically one every hour except one at end of the day where there is one that's two hours. I wanted to try to quit smoking and got a doctor's prescription for Nicoderm I feel every two hours would be more beneficial for breaks. Also on weekends there is no mandatory classes or group sessions. So you have a lot of time to sit with thoughts racing. I feel a few more scheduled sessions of group would be beneficial on the weekend. I also agree with some of the above comments regarding staff. They need more training together to make things more consistent. Because it does seem like depending on which care team staff is on duty which rules apply. So one rule May apply and be enforced one day by a staff member then the next day it wouldn't with a different member. This makes it very hard as a new client to understand rules, regulations, and structure. The young staff members have a tendency to form cliques with certain staff members and clients. There is one counselor in particular that was very awesome for me. Went out of her way to help me with even the smallest of things. Which made them even more special. CARON YOU ARE SUPERB AND MY INSPIRATIONAL 👼

Went here to detox for alcohol and literally had a horrible experience. Staff is unprofessional and act like children. Some dude high on meth got kicked out for suspicion of using in the facility. Which is understandable and the backdoor you use to go smoke is always unlocked. The dude who was high straight came back in and watched a movie like nothing happened and staff didnt notice for hours. Wyd is that. Lol. Got kicked out of detox five hours before my intended release because the lady with the short curly black hair the short one has an attitude problem and doesn't know how to communicate with others. Other than that the gatorade was warm lol petty I know but still. Plus having to remind medical staff that it's time for your meds now because your feeling sick. Isn't that their job. Lol this place was a dumpster of a facility full of assclowns. That's it tho. The pizza was good tho I think on thursday.

So I went here and was treated like a inmate at a jail. Most of the staff and this care team jackas* named Manny violated hippa laws and are very unprofessional and act like children. They are not Trained properly. They have addicts that have been clean a year working there that have all the same addict tendencies. Example. They stole Suboxone from me. I went to a local outpatient facility and without an ROI one of the people there said things that only a staff member from ABHS would know. They violated my rights. Don't go here unless you are homeless and need a place to stay. If you have money. Go to a better treatment facility. . You don't want to deal with there behavior. There are only a few good people that work there. . It's the worse treatment facility I have ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. YOU ARE JUST A CASH COW TO THEM
