Planning was horrendous. But the movers hustled and got it done.
We tried to plan our move 2 months in advance, as we had 2 moving trucks going to different locations. We were constantly dismissed, and felt Derrick didn't care, or want our business. We were told he would call us back, he even set up call back times, and never received a return phone call.
Instead of giving up, we decided to give the company one last chance, and FINALLY received an estimate and confirmed movers for our Moving date.
Moving day came, and the workers had no idea what the plan was supposed to be. Even though they didn't receive the details involved, the movers (Dylan, Chris, and Steven) came up with a game plan, and executed it. They worked very hard and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction.
If I could rate just the movers (Dylan, Chris, and Steven), they would get 5 stars.
Management and Planning would receive 1 to 2 stars.
We were initially excited to hire Speedy Movers for our move, as a family member recently used them and gave them rave reviews. Poor planning and management of our move has changed our minds about hiring Speedy Movers, and might have convinced us to do it ourselves next time.
I had a moved scheduled for a Saturday morning to move two offices. Speedy Movers was supposed to be there between 6am-7am. They didn't show up for more than an hour after that and only did because I kept calling the dispatcher. I had started moving items by myself and had it 25% done by they time they showed up. Every one in the management passed the buck on who's fault it was. I was told they forgot to put it on the schedule and was told someone got a flat tire. The contact that morning just said they can't do anything and would leave a message for the manager.
I was told by the manager the day of the they would help me out and get a me a discount for their mess up. Nothing happened. I called and followed up and they told me someone from corporate would call me back, that never happened.
This is all after they moved my original move time after they booked me. I accommodated their schedule and they did not show up.
The movers themselves were great. Very nice, professional, and got the job done once they were actually told where to be.
I would never use them again as the management side is unreliable and unprofessional. Dishonest people who won't follow up even after they said multiple times they would.
